END USER LICENCE AGREEMENT (EULA)

This End User Licence Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your access to and use of Oralingo (“the App”), operated by pmc-soft ApS (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Oralingo. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

2. Description of the Service

Oralingo is a messenger application with built‑in translation functionality that enables users to communicate with each other across different languages.

The App allows users to engage in one‑to‑one conversations, using text and/or voice messages, with messages translated to facilitate cross‑language communication. All messages exchanged through the App are considered user‑generated content.

3. User Accounts and Identification

To access communication features, users must create an account and provide basic identifiable profile information, which may include a name or nickname, avatar, language preferences, and country.

Oralingo does not permit anonymous chat connections. Before starting a conversation, users are shown profile information about the other user and must actively accept the connection.

4. User‑Generated Content

You are solely responsible for all content you create, send, or share through the App.

By submitting content, you confirm that:

  • You have the right to share the content
  • The content complies with this Agreement and applicable laws

You grant pmc-soft ApS a limited, non‑exclusive licence to process user‑generated content solely for the purpose of operating, moderating, translating, and improving the App.

5. Prohibited Content and Zero‑Tolerance Policy

Oralingo maintains a zero‑tolerance policy for objectionable or abusive behaviour.

You agree not to create, upload, send, or share content that includes, but is not limited to:

  • Harassment, bullying, or threats
  • Hate speech or discrimination
  • Sexually explicit, pornographic, or sexually suggestive content
  • Violence or encouragement of violence
  • Self‑harm or suicide content
  • Illegal activities
  • Spam, scams, or misleading content

Any violation may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account.

6. Content Moderation

To maintain a safe environment, Oralingo employs:

  • Automated content filtering
  • User reporting tools
  • Human review where required

Content that may violate this Agreement can be blocked, restricted, or removed without prior notice.

7. Reporting and Blocking

Users can:

  • Report objectionable content or users directly within the App
  • Block other users, preventing further communication or future matches

All reports are reviewed and acted upon within 24 hours, which may include content removal or account action.

8. Enforcement and Account Termination

pmc-soft ApS reserves the right to:

  • Remove content that violates this Agreement
  • Temporarily suspend or permanently terminate user accounts
  • Restrict or deny access to the App without prior notice

Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent banning.

9. Safety Disclaimer

PMC‑Soft ApS does not control user behaviour and cannot guarantee that interactions will always be appropriate.

You agree to:

  • Use appropriate judgement when communicating with others
  • Immediately report interactions that feel unsafe or inappropriate
  • Avoid sharing sensitive personal or financial information

10. Data Protection and Privacy

Your use of Oralingo is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how personal data and communications are processed and protected, including the use of translation services.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PMC‑Soft ApS shall not be liable for:

  • User‑generated content
  • Translated message accuracy
  • User behaviour or interactions
  • Any indirect or consequential damages related to use of the App

Use of the App is at your own risk.

12. Changes to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.
